About Our Schools

We host international students in four traditional secondary schools and also have the option of enriching your education through supplementary attendance in our regional Distance Education School (Virtual School).

Each of our four secondary schools is situated on large natural sites and each boasts five playing fields.

All four schools offer courses in the university entrance areas of English, Literature, History, Geography, Geology, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Every year graduates enter the best colleges and universities in Canada, the USA and abroad.

As well as the core academic courses, students may enrol in the elective areas of Art, Drama, Music, Business/Marketing, Computer Technology, Clothing and Design, Drafting, Foods and Cafeteria, Languages – French and Spanish, Media/Journalism, Physical Education, Technology Education – metalwork, woodwork, automotive, electronics, robotics, and Hospitality and Tourism. Credit courses are also available with the local accredited college.

Each of our schools offers many after hours activities including sports – individual and team (including ski and snowboard teams), theatre, music – vocal and instrumental, student government and community service clubs.

In addition to what our schools offer, the community at large provides extensive opportunities in sports, fine and performing arts and recreation.
