Outdoor Education Leadership Certification Program

Are you the adventurous type who loves outdoor activities, working with people and challenging yourself? Have you thought about a career being an outdoor education or recreation specialist or just using a wide variety of experiential outdoor education in your work or for your own interest? Throughout the world, adventure and eco-tourism and outdoor program leadership have been and continue to be growth industries. If a career in adventure and eco-tourism or outdoor program leadership interests you, we have put a variety of programs together for you. We have an Outdoor Education Leadership Program to fit your schedule.
During our programs, participants will develop personal and facilitation skills in diverse areas such as: wall and rock climbing, ocean kayaking, team building using a high and low ropes course, hiking and camping skills, winter travel (if the course is in the winter months), plus many other associated skills. In addition(depending on the length of the program), students have the opportunity to gain a variety of industry standard certificates in things like Wilderness first aid, Interpretation Training, Food safe, Marine emergency duties. Our programs are designed as a stand alone certificate courses for a person wanting training and experience in adventure and eco-tourism or experiential outdoor programming. Also, for someone wishing to specialize in outdoor education, this program could help someone gain entrance for the experience component needed when applying to take a University or College OutdoorTourism or Recreation course.
The Student Outdoor Education Leadership Programs have a variety of start dates and program lengths. Participants need to apply and go through an interview process to assess suitability to the program.
