2009 - 2010 Program Fees
Standard fee for all international students payable to School District #71 ( Comox Valley ).
Total Tuition
Total fees are $13,300 (GST Included). A breakdown is shown below.
- All fees for new and returning students must be paid, in full, by the first day of classes.
- Students enrolling for a full year (two semesters) are expected to pay the full tuition before enrollment.

Host Family Fees
- $800 per month (includes $50 monthly supervision fee)
Medical Insurance
Health Insurance is mandatory in British Columbia and international students are entitled to benefits through the government Medical Services Plan (MSP). The fee is $700 per year.

Additional Fees
- Student Permit Renewal: $200.00
- Homestay changes: $200.00
- Interpreter charges for visiting parents: $35.00 per hour
- Interpreter charges: $100.00 per school year
- Unaccompanied minor status charges actual cost, plus administrative fee
- Parents' landing service: $1,000.00 per school year (for details contact Program Manager)
- Formal validation of student transcript through the embassy/consulate is $200
All fees shown are in Canadian Dollars. Fees can be paid by money order, cheque or bank transfer.
Refund Policy
- Students who withdraw after the June 30th payment deadline, and prior to school startup, will receive a 45% refund of the tuition fee and 100% refund of any prepaid host family monthly fees
- The above also applies to students who apply for the year already in progress, have a different start date than September 1st, and who withdraw in the two months prior to their specific start date
- Students leaving the program for whatever reason after their school start date will forfeit the entire program fee.
- Students who are asked to withdraw due to a violation of school or program rules will receive no refund.
